KitchenLab kitchen tool packaging in beige for Liverpool

Letting the product take the lead.

We worked with Liverpool’s own-brand team to create KitchenLab for cookware, tableware and kitchen accessories. The brand needed to bring the range together while allowing the products and collections to remain the focus, whether customers were preparing food, serving it or displaying it.

Research with home cooks, cooking enthusiasts and chefs in Mexico and abroad informed the product recommendations. Their practical needs brought ergonomics, function and specific product characteristics into the direction, connecting the brand with the ways people actually use a kitchen.

Information with a clear hierarchy.

A restrained identity and neutral colour keep attention on the products. A quality seal gives each item a shared endorsement, while the packaging uses typography and a considered hierarchy to organise the information customers need to make a choice.

Those levels of communication help the range make sense on the sales floor. The system connects individual articles with a wider collection, giving Liverpool a consistent way to present practical, distinctive products for functional and thoughtfully composed kitchens.
